Styles: Rock, blues, jazz, R & B, folk fingerpicking, heavy metal, latin, flamenco, etc.. Lessons Focus On: playing songs of your choice, reading music, understanding tab, improvising composition, theory, ensemble playing, learning different styles, etc...
Why Study with Ben?: With my diverse background in music, my experience teaching people of all ages, and my passion for music I am a confident teacher.
My goals for my students are:
a.to have an enjoyable, fun time learning to play the guitar
b.to learn the basics of music and to be confident that they are playing the music well
c.to work towards having their own voice as a musical artist
d.for the study of music to affect other aspects of their lives such as their overall confidence, self-discipline, teamwork, organization, creativity, and happiness.
